NHL PLAYER EXPERIENCE

Moncton Wildcats, QMJHL

Josh Hepditch grew up playing minor hockey in Fredericton New Brunswick.  At age 17 he started a four-season stretch with the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL. During his final year in the Q, Josh and the Wildcats won the league Presidents Cup and lost in the Memorial Cup final. Hepditch then went on to play with University of New Brunswick for 5 years, winning 3 National Championships. After University Josh played in the Central Hockey League for the Missouri Mavericks as well as the Allen Americans.  In 2012, Hepditch hung his skates to take on a new adventure in hockey world.  Josh took on his first coaching job with the Creston Valley Thunder Cats in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League leading the team to its best ever finish.  In 2013, Hepditch served as a Assistant Coach for Team BC and helped the team take home the gold medal at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship, the first time in the province’s history.  Josh will begin a new journey in his coaching career as he takes on the role of GM and coach for the Junior A, Amherst Ramblers of the MHL for the 2014-2015 season.
