Leadership, dedication and confidence are just some of the qualities that make a stellar hockey coach. These qualities will be on constant display in Season Five of Hit The Ice. This year, John Chabot is joined by two other former NHLers whose willingness to bring each player to his full potential will impress and inspire viewers.
Andrew Antsanen is from Lac Brochet Manitoba and was a player on the first season of Hit The Ice. Following his experience on the show, he signed with the Kahnawake Condors of the Junior AAA league in Quebec and played for them throughout his junior career. Now retired, Andrew has transitioned to Mixed Martial Arts and is looking to continue his studies at the collegiate level in sports sciences. Thanks in part to his own personal experience coming from a remote community, he feels he has much to teach young Canadian hockey players.
