The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Mckitrick hails from Cole Harbour Nunavut but currently resides in Thunder Bay to pursue his hockey career.  Mckitrick might seem small in stature off the ice but once he steps on, nothing can hold him back.  Mckitrick is a prime example of pure ardour, effort and dedication.  In his 2012-2013 season he effectively used his swiftness and agility to earn a roster spot with the minor Midget AAA Thunder Bay Kings. Daniel only uses one speed on the ice: full.
