Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

From Saddle Lake, Alberta, Isaih Cardinal is a returning player from last year’s HTI roster. Cardinal was a key blueliner on his 2012-2013 Junior B team, the Saddle Lake Warriors. Isaih is a strong and smart D-man and can prove to be a vital element of a team’s penalty kill as well an efficient puck mover; knowing when, where and how to support the rush.
