The Players
Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Gary Martin returns for his second shot at the Hit The Ice camp. Cool, calm and collected Martin is a team player and is well respected in a locker room. His stature and size make opponents think twice about cutting through the middle while he’s on the ice. Word of advice for opposing players: Don’t put your head down.
