The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Players

Trevor Hester #73

Position: Forward
Age: 17
Province / Territory: Quebec
Height: 5'9
Date of birth: January 16th, 1997

Trevor is one of many brothers in the Hester family with hopes of one day playing professional hockey. He played Junior A with the Mattawa Voyageurs during the 2013-2014 season scoring 10 points in 15 games. You would think with older siblings having played Major Junior that Trevor would feel the pressure but that isn’t the case.  In the past few years, Trevor hasn’t been shy to play as an under ager in both Junior and the Midget ranks.  He’s always believed that in order to be the best you must play with the best.
