Leadership, dedication and confidence are just some of the qualities that make a stellar hockey coach. These qualities will be on constant display in Season Six of Hit The Ice.
Tasked with off-ice training in this season is Carrie Peters. Carrie is a strength and conditioning coach as well as a fitness instructor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Manitoba in addition to her official Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. Currently, Carrie is a graduate student working at the Perceptual Motor Integration Lab, University of Manitoba, pursuing her master’s of science. With an athletic background in dance and ringuette, Carrie strives to provide sport-specific training for a variety of activities and abilities.
