The Players
Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Cailen Hanzlik was selected on the Hit The Ice team after showing up for a walk-on tryout. She is an outstanding player with a natural ability in the goal crease. This is what solidified her spot on the roster. She’s a great athlete and knows what it takes to reach the next level.
