The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Brayden Hopkins is a sturdy forward from the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown, Ontario.   In 2012-2013 he played Junior B with the Chatham Maroons where he finished the season with an impressive 40 points, helping his team finish 1st in the western division of the GOJHL.   Hopkins was drafted in the OHL by Owen Sound for being an all-around good player with an impressive shot and release.
