NHL PLAYER EXPERIENCE
Moncton Wildcats, QMJHL
Josh Hepditch grew up playing minor hockey in Fredericton New Brunswick. At age 17 he started a four-season stretch with the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL. During his final year in the Q, Josh and the Wildcats won the league Presidents Cup and lost in the Memorial Cup final. Hepditch then went on to play with University of New Brunswick for 5 years, winning 3 National Championships. After University Josh played in the Central Hockey League for the Missouri Mavericks as well as the Allen Americans. In 2012, Hepditch hung his skates to take on a new adventure in hockey world. Josh took on his first coaching job with the Creston Valley Thunder Cats in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. His coaching skills didn’t go unnoticed as he was selected to be Assistant Coach for Team BC at the 2013 NAHC. The team took home the gold medal and the Championship title for the first time in the province’s history.
