The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Players

Arielle MacDonald #21

Position: Defence
Province / Territory: Ontario
Height: 5'7
Date of birth: November 29th, 2002

Arielle MacDonald was a stand-out at the 2018 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships with Team Ontario. Although Arielle’s time on the show was cut short due to injury, she made her presence felt as one of the camp best defenseman. Her tall stature and quick feet allowed her to play the position effectively and reliably. Slotted in as a top 4 D, Arielle will without a doubt contribute to any team she’s a part of.
