The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Players

Drake Harding-Paul #12

Position: Right wing
Age: 17
Province / Territory: New Brunswick
Height: 5'8
Date of birth: March 4th, 1996

From Kingsclear First Nation, New Brunswick but currently living in North Carolina, Drake Harding-Paul is a young hockey enthusiast who only got the opportunity to play organized hockey starting at age 12. This meant working twice as hard to catch up to the boys in the high ranks. Harding-Paul’s efforts paid out nicely as he was part of the Cape Fear Fireantz Midget A team in 2012-2013, the highest possible ranking in the area.   He is proof that hard work and dedication are key to one’s success.
