The Players
Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Cody Young is a prime example of feistiness and determination. Cody Young hails from Saskatoon Saskatchewan. He spent his 2012-2013 season with the Midget AAA Prince Albert Mintos who finished top of their division and made it all the way to the finals in the playoffs. Young is a go-getting forward who can rely on great offensive instincts in tight situations. This hasn’t gone unnoticed as the Saskatoon Blades drafted Young in the WHL.
