The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Longjohn hails from Hobbema Alberta but moved to Saskatchewan to attend Athol Murray College of Notre-Dame where he played with the Bantam AAA Hounds.  His fast hands and hockey smarts led him to an impressive 39 points in only 34 games last season, finishing at the top of the team’s point chart.
