The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Darien Head is an athletic D-man with a wicked shot.  From Salmon Arm British-Columbia, Head played his 2012-2013 season with the Junior B North Okanagan Knights.  His great vision of the game allows him to be responsible defensively and quickly shut down the opposing team’s rush.  Head was drafted by the Everett Silvertips during the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam draft.
