Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Khadyn Butterfly is from Moose Cree First Nation and currently resides in Sudbury, Ontario where he played Junior A with the Nickel Barons during the 2012-2013 season. Butterfly is a highflying blueliner with great offensive flair. He can effectively support the rush and move the puck hard and quick to the open man. Khadyn was a key player in team Ontario’s silver medal win at the 2013 NAHC.
