The Players

Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Growing up in the arctic community of Chesterfield Inlet, many of KJ first games where in the true outdoors and in a setting like no other.  Perhaps this is where his passion and love for hockey comes from.  Today, this versatile team-oriented defenseman loves to muck it up and contribute any way he can. His smaller size makes him a target for his opponents but opposing checkers will quickly see that KJ is as solid as they come and he is more than likely to be the last man standing after a hard hit.
