Hit The Ice season 7 regroups Canada’s most talented young Indigenous female hockey players and invites them to participate in a 2-week training camp that is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to get recruited by a University team. The group will make lifelong friends, work harder than ever before, and meet professional coaches as well as current and former Olympic players.

Drafted by the Kootenay Ice of the WHL, Drew Warkentine is a forward that loves to battle in the corners and doesn’t shy away from the dirty work. He is also known as a scoring machine. Coming from a hockey family, Warkentine has always received good advice when it comes to playing the game the right way. Drew is the youngest skater in this year’s Hit The Ice roster.
